Ideas & Concepts
- Each hexagon tile provides multiple different terrains and resources. Different from Civilization, the resources are hidden but can be discovered in many ways.
- All factions may share similarities in economic structures, but the differentiations must be instinct. This could be achieved through unique resources, technologies and buildings. Real-life information is the core for economic structures, but modified elements implement.
- Resources are divided into main categories, each with subcategories, to achieve diversity. However, complexity must be accounted for by different elements. One example is the main resource can be used in place of all its subcategories.
- In order to have a wide variety of economic buildings, a system called Settlement and District is presented. Every district and settlement have similar buildings like other strategy games. However, many buildings can only be accessed by a certain district.
- The Population is also divided into different classes with their own happiness measurement. This element shape the production, the city management and the military's recruitment.
